I think I know the kind of love I want
It was neither on the front pages of magazines
Nor in fairytales
Because everything about fairytales is binary and cruel
I just don’t get it

Evocative, Flamboyant, Sophisticated

There are no princes and princesses
With golden hair in castles in real life,
There are no castles in real life with real people living in them,
Except you know who
And the dragon is hanging around with multiple personality disorder,
Cause this is what you get,
When you have multiple heads talking to each other
Simultaneously

But if we just for once go rogue
And accept all the shadow parts in ourselves,
What kind of life it would be?
Imagine telling people the truth without a fear of being embarrassed,
Imagine them talking sincerely with no judgment at all,
If you loose control just for once,
How far would you go?
Would you cross the line,
Would it be dangerous, breaking the rules?

What is the meaning of a danger?
I mean for real
Isn’t it dangerous to fall in love?
Everybody tells me about safety, acceptance and intimacy in a relationship,
But do they really know what it means?

I’m not a support system, I’m just a human
You’re not a support system,
But who are you?

I mean actual you,
Not the one on display, being nice, pleasing people,
So the real you can get whatever they want and finally go home

The real you, are you dangerous?

I think people are dangerous, unpredictable,
Cause they cannot control their feelings
This is a Pandora’s box opening very slowly
The point is to stay alive until it’s finally open,
So you won’t miss the grand finale

This is the most interesting part
And the show must go on, everybody knows that

It’s over when the dream is over,
Dissolved, oozed away,
Like a broken screen with noise and grain
And the dreamer finally awakes
And welcomes a velvet morning

And just like that
Somebody will be bored
Somebody will be anxious
Somebody will be happy because
The nightmare is over

So I was saying about love,
But not actually saying anything
That’s why I want it to stay perfect and inaccessible
As the dream about two psychos
Against the world holding hands, smitten
Suffering tension, addicted to love, but not too much
Or maybe way too much, cause nothing here is mediocre

Spying on each other, risking their lives
Fearless, fierce and passionate
Knowing how to play this game when nobody gets bored
Watching and being watched and clearly enjoying that
Always standing for each other,
But never actually being together as a couple
Or maybe they are together, but they won’t tell us, won’t make it clear
Cause they know, otherwise it will be so booooooOOOOoring

Otherwise it will be so cruel as in fairytales,
But hopefully this is not a fairytale
This is a goddamn LOVE STORY
So let it be
